CREDO CHRISTIAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL HELPS BUY-A-BUS With CHANGE FOR A CHANGE.

During the weeks of February 9th to March 9th the students of CCES had their annual Change For A Change Fundraiser. This year the students raised money for the much needed school bus for Escola Biblica Crista. Each week they would have a fundraiser sale. They sold pizza, ice-cream, cookies and had a small toy and book sale. One grade did chores at home or for others and then donated the money. For every 20 dollars raised the students would get a piece of a bus to hang in the hallway. The goal this year was to raise $2000, they came very close to this goal raising 1902.65.

M is for Mission Month

That’s what the grade three students of John Calvin Elementary School in Yarrow, B.C., together with their teacher, Miss. Julia Byl declared! They came up with An Alphabet About Brazil in conjunction with the Buy-A-Bus Campaign and the fund raising activities that their school is busy with. The grade three class has obviously learned a lot about the mission work in Brazil, and the Mission Aid Brazil board is happy to share their expertise with our website readers. It is wonderful to see how the young Canadians care about the churches, believers, schools and students in Brazil! Teachers, you have Miss. Byl’s permission as well as that of her students to use their ABCs in your classroom as well.
